Welcome to the Maine Jung Center!
The Maine Jung Center is a membership-supported, nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage people to spend time developing a deep understanding of their own individuation process. We’re committed to building a warm sense of community. We provide intriguing and educational lectures, seminars, courses, discussions and book groups on topics related to the ideas of C. G. Jung and analytical psychology.
You’ll find that many participants are brand new to the Center, many have been with us for just a few years, and others have been with the Center since its founding in 1988. Every level of experience and knowledge is helpful in building our sense of community. We welcome you to join us, participating at any level, including quiet listening.
The Center’s library and office are located at 183 Park Row in Brunswick, ME. All of our lectures and seminars are open to the general public, and visitors are welcome to use the resources in our library. Center hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am – 2 pm. Consider calling before you visit to make sure the hours haven’t changed that day; and if you would like to use the library during the summer please call to arrange an appointment.
We invite you to join our vibrant community. The Maine Jung Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide educational programs on topics related to analytical psychology. Our community of around 200 members includes people from all walks of life who are drawn together to deepen their understanding of Jungian thought, practice and experience. The Center relies on the support of its members’ annual fees and donations to keep our programs strong and our fees accessible to all. As a member, you will receive:
- Borrowing privileges for the Center’s Library of books, tapes, CD’s and videos
- Member discounts on all programs
- The opportunity to participate in Discussion Groups at the Center
