The C. G. Jung Center relies on Docents as ambassadors of our work. The Docent Program has been running since 2005 and has become a foundational way for members to become part of the larger community. Docents are primarily used as hosts who welcome our participants and presenters and attend to any tasks needed the day of a program. Docents are occasionally also used for other tasks related to the running of the Center.
The Center values the contributions of their committed docents because they are truly the “faces” of the Center during any given program. Docents all receive a light-hearted, but thorough, training that includes topics such as “Jung in a Nutshell” and the history of the Center. When the training is completed everyone feels prepared for their first assignment. They also receive complimentary registration for any program they host.
