Discussed book recommendations for new season.

Steve recommends book by Gary Bobroff. ”Crop Circles, Jung and the Reemergence of Archtypical Feminine”. Transition is occurring in this era towards greater integration of the feminine principle into our weltgeist.

Steve's recommendation for the Gary Bobroff book sounded very interesting and timely to me...I ordered the book last night! Really enjoyed the discussion yesterday...was going to also mention, as someone who spend a lot of time on frozen lakes, there is a wide array of "blue" (per the discussion yesterday), where water is transmuted into various other shades and colors...pure black ice is the strongest and most supportable, and white/gray ice can often be weaker (often it's aerated) and have other characteristics like being "shell ice", "candled", "snow ice", et al. Such interesting polarities in nature, where the ice shelf is an interesting metaphor as well for layers of depth...in the course of winter, there are layers that form e.g. after a rain, and a re-freeze, will get layered structured (not dissimilar to tree rings), with aging chronographies building on each other... Finally, I also want to clarify comment about my father's Alzheimer's/dementia, my point was that various descents and pathologies (e.g. depression, diseases, traumas..) have these layers of gifts, sometimes only emerging after one "emerges" from the trauma....in my father's case (or generally with Alzheimer's), one doesn't emerge it's a full-on descent, often accelerating towards the "end", but in rare cases humans can individuate enough to "be with the depression", as Hillman says, and be with the pathology...anyway, hopefully this translates :) Looking forward to Shamanic Astrology this afternoon!
