Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Portland Friends Meeting in Portland, ME


Saturday's event will discuss this research project conducted with Dalits in the US and its findings, as well as the symbolic imagery discovered when he administered the Indian Adaptation to the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) to his participants. He will subsequently analyze this symbolic imagery from a psychoanalytic perspective, focusing on psychological defenses.


Rick Bouchard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Southern Maine. He is a Jungian analyst having graduated from the C.G. Jung Institute of New England (then the C.G. Jung Institute of Boston).  Rick is the former Director of Training at the C.G. Jung Institute of New England and remains on the faculty. He is currently in a doctoral program in Modern Psychoanalysis at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis, currently ABD and working on his dissertation…
