Jung's Answer to Job can be bewildering upon its first reading. As useful preparationfor making sense of the book, the first hour of this program offers a brief synopsis of all 42 chapters of The Book of Job in The Bible. In the second hour of the course, we follow Jung's advice, and digest the contents of the Foreword, the Prefatory Note, and the "Lectori Benevolo," all of which precede the text of the book itself.

Steven Kercel, PhD specializes in the field of Artificial Intelligence and was an associate editor of the Journal of Integrative Neuroscience. He recently completed teaching a year-long course based on Kastrup's Decoding of Jung's Metaphysics at USM-OLLI. He has also taught courses in Decoding Schopenhauer's Metaphysics at OLLI, and various courses on mind-body topics.
