About the event
The late Jonathan Miller, British neurologist (among other talents), steers this hourlong documentary on the renowned musician Clive Wearing. A serious bout of viral encephalitis had attacked his central nervous system. The resultant brain damage leaves him with a 7-20 second memory. Miller's concern is with the quality of life that remains and what kind of "soul" is still evident.
Program recordings are available to all registrants for 10 days after the program takes place, and for 30 days for Individual Members. After that, Archive Members can revisit any program they've purchased — anytime — and Patron Members can watch any recording in our library, anytime, regardless of whether or not they purchased a ticket.
