What are the parameters and propensities of the everyday mind? How do these features become constraints on our ability to self-actualize? Why is it distinctly important today to transcend these limitations? Is transcendence even possible? In this lively (and sometimes comical) lecture, professor Sawyer gives us an overview of current theories regarding the nature of consciousness, while also arguing for why we need to expand it as soon as possible. Join us as Dana presents the Annual Mildred Harris Lecture, endowed by our founder and benefactress as a yearly ritual to disseminate Jung's ideas and those of related fields.
