Join us as we welcome back Laura Lewis Barr and her ingenious Stop Motion Fairy Tales for this year’s Members’ Eve event! Held at the Curtis Memorial Library in Downtown Brunswick, this night will be full of Jungian connections as we collectively view Laura’s award-winning films. Light refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration (tickets) required. Please note this is a BYOB (Bring-Your-Own-Barbie) event!
Laura Lewis-Barr has been studying fiction and non-fiction storytelling since childhood. She is an award-winning writer and filmmaker and she teaches storytelling to business leaders and job seekers. Laura first explored Jungian writings during graduate school in a clinical transpersonal psychology program. She eventually switched majors to complete her MA in Drama but Laura continued to study Jungian thought, especially all the writings of Marie Louise Von Franz. In this workshop, Laura will share her journey as an artist through a Jungian lens. She will share some of her stop-motion fairy tale films and explore their usefulness for inner-work. Laura continues to create these films with a Jungian audience in mind. You can see some of Laura’s early films at https://www.dailymotion.com/MythicTalesForPsyche.
