At the Maine Jung Center, people from all walks of life are drawn together to explore psychological insights, development of consciousness and growth, and enjoy continuing education for the human spirit. The Center is profoundly grateful for the continued support of its members, whose annual membership fees and donations keep our programs strong and our program fees accessible to all. We invite you to join our vibrant community!

Sponsored Membership

The Maine Jung Center strives to offer quality programs and meaningful connections to everyone, regardless of their means or education. If you would like to become a member but do not feel you are able to purchase a membership, sponsorships are available.

Interested in joining a committee?

Our committees are where much of the Center’s real work happens. Committee service offers a meaningful way to contribute your skills, perspective, and curiosity while working closely with others who care deeply about this community. We invite you to explore our committees and see where your interests might align. Because committee work is collaborative and intentional, openings are limited, and participation is thoughtfully considered, not guaranteed. To express interest, please email Tom at info@mainejungcenter.org or use the form below.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee helps keep the Center on solid ground. This group looks after the budget, tracks income and expenses, oversees investments and endowments, and supports fundraising so that the Center can remain stable and independent over the long term. The work is steady and practical, focused on making sure good programs and an inclusive community are financially possible.

This committee is a good fit for people who are comfortable with numbers, planning, and long-range thinking, such as those with experience in finance, accounting, investing, nonprofit governance, or business. Just as important are good judgment, care, and a respect for aligning money with values.

Program Committee

The Program Committee shapes what the Center offers to the public: lectures, workshops, discussion groups, film nights, and special events. This group reviews ideas, invites speakers to present, plans the semester's calendar, and reflects on what is (and isn't) working well, with the goal of offering programs that are grounded in Jungian psychology while remaining alive to the ideas and questions of our world today.

This committee is a good fit for people who love ideas, learning, and conversation. Curiosity and discernment matter more than credentials, though clinicians are strongly encourage to apply. If you enjoy helping decide what’s worth gathering around, this committee offers a meaningful way to contribute.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee tends the human side of the Center. It welcomes new members, supports existing ones, and helps create a sense of connection and belonging through gatherings, communication, and simple acts of care. This committee listens to what members need and helps shape a community where people feel genuinely invited to participate.

This committee is well-suited to people who enjoy hosting, organizing, listening, and bringing people together. If you value conversation, community, and helping others feel at home in a shared space of meaning and inquiry, this work can be especially rewarding.
