Blue Fire (Hillman) Discussion Group

The Hillman / Soul of the Post-Jungians reading group meets this Saturday, May 9, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 noon. We’ll be starting Chapter 11, Love''s Torturous Enchantments.

This chapter deals with three subchapters, Love's Tortures, Betrayal, and Imaginal Love. Why this after the chapter on Dreams, and why serve as the penultimate thrust, before "The Divine Face of Things?" We're about to find out.

The follow-on book -- to begin in October -- appears to be Sharon Blackie's "If Women Rose Rooted," as no groundswell for an alternative title has emerged, and any lead time for an alternative discussion is rapidly dwindling
