If Women Rose Rooted (Blackie) Discussion Group

Public·16 members

A couple of things coming up:

The Hillman / Soul of the Post-Jungians reading group meets Saturday, June 13, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 noon. We’ll be starting Chapter 12, The Divine Face of Things, page 290.

This will complete our 2-year excursion into James Hillman via the compendium, "A Blue Fire." And we will be taking the summer off, starting the second Saturday of October, health and traffic willing. Plenty of time to pick up Sharon Blackie's "If Women Rose Rooted," the next book we will visit continuing our theme, "Soul of the Post-Jungians."

In the original Discussion Group write-up, you were all to sample Hillman and "to see what sticks." For those who have gotten there, Hillman will never be far distant from the images Blackie invokes.

But come with us to finish, and mourn, the departure.
